Phoenix Gardens
Nature is beautiful. That is factually true. We thought it would be nice to shoot our new knitwear lookbook in a gorgeous pocket of nature located right in the centre of London.
Phoenix Gardens rose from the ashes of a World War 2 bombsite in Covent Garden. The soil is laced with rubble. The gardens benefit from a urban heat island effect caused by being surrounded by the entire city of London, meaning they’re home to several rare and exotic plants, such as the giant viper’s bugloss.
That’s the backdrop. Now, take a closer look at our new Knits, designed to help you rise from the ashes of a punishing winter.
The return of our famous Casa Picante, as worn by Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds. This one’s in green jacquard, and it’s 100% cotton. These sell like the hottest of hotcakes, you have been warned.
The Moiré Polo in blue. This one’s designed with lines and dots, superimposed onto one another to create its eponymous Moiré effect. Like a calm pool in the middle of the forest. Spring and summer in 100% cotton.
Now this one’s a bit of a special one. It’s our Space Dye Knit. The yarn itself is dip-dyed or printed to create this wavy space effect. Officially, it’s nothing to do with actual space, but if the aliens finally land and colonise Earth and they’re all wearing Space Dye Knits, we will be unavailable for comment. This one’s in the sand colourway—it’s also available in blue.
The Moiré Crewneck in forest, shown here draped over our new Toffee Everyday Knitted Shirt. Hell of a match if you ask us. Have you ever seen a man look more at home with his surroundings? And it’s not surprising — all of our knits are designed for comfort. And they’re—say it with us—100% cotton.
The ultra-versatile Adaman Breeze in forest. Modelled here buttoned-up and all by itself, it’s also perfect for layering over a white tee or under an overshirt. And guess what… it’s 100% cotton, and comes in four varieties.
We present to you the brand new Terazzo Resort Knit. Terrazzo is an Italian word. Literally, it means terrace but, more specifically, it’s cement that’s made from a mixture of ground minerals. Can you see the inspiration behind this one? It’s perfect for layering or buttoned-up on its own. What’s it made from? Oh. Well, it’s made from 100% cotton, thanks for asking.
The Forest Long Sleeve Academy Mini Cable Knit. We love this one. It lives right in the little corner where comfort and smartness meet. Perfect for any number of occasions and settings. We really recommend getting your orders in early when this hits the Percival shelves later in May, or be prepared to live with your regret.
