What is the fashion forecast for men in 2025?
At the start of the year, a bout of low atmospheric bastardry is expected to bring heavy storms of Casentino Wool and Trench Coats, with a creeping onset of stylish Fleece Jackets that will last until the sun drags itself out of its pit of wintrous self-pity. Come spring, the Fleece Jackets will linger for a moment, sucking the last of the cold from your bones, and then we expect warm air blowing from the Gulf of Percival to bring about clear skies of Linen Suits and Knitted Polos.
What is the colour trend in fashion 2025?
Warm nature colours are in for 2025. Pleasant pastels, temperate neutrals, and nourishing greens are all here to see you through another year on Planet Earth, and, just to lift the veil for a moment here, we’re writing this whilst looking out the window to the greyest of grey days—a real World War One Oscar-bait film of a day—and we implore you to embrace colour and warmth. Please.
Casentino Wool
Casentino wool is called Casentino wool because it comes from Casentino. Makes sense. Casentino sheep’s wool from Casentino farms, with Casentino water from Casentino rivers to power Casentino mills, that same Casentino water being heated by burning Casentino timber during the dyeing process.
Gone a bit cross-eyed writing that out. Give us a Casentino second.
Anyway, Casentino wool—gonna be big in 2025.
Minnesota Overcoat
Have a good look at the Minnesota Overcoat and tell us it’s not one handsome fella. Comes oversized, so if you’re after a trench coat type fit, go a size down. It’s a heavy cotton twill fabric with an actual visible twill that also gives it a gorgeous texture. You can easily throw it over any suit or winter jumper—a perfect cold weather companion and the second-best thing to come out of Minnesota (after Prince, and before Scotch Tape and the Minnesota Vikings).
Fleece Jacket
Your mum would force you to wear a fleece Jacket to school or when you went camping as a kid, and you’d feel like a little geek and fight against it. Well, turns out your mum was right and, actually, would she like a job with us? Fleece Jackets go with just about any winter fit, they work as a midlayer, or as an outer layer on those milder spring days, and they’re f*cking cool. Fair play, mum.
Suits
Whatever you’re up to this year, you’re likely to need a suit at some point, if not regularly. Let’s take a look at the men’s suits that you’ll be seeing at weddings, awards ceremonies, and formal events everywhere in 2025.
Linen
A good Linen Suit is suitable all year round, but they’re especially perfect in warmer weather.
